Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They are a great source of vitamins, minerals, fiber & antioxidants. Mushrooms are low in calories and a good source of vitamin D, potassium, proteins & antioxidants. The antioxidants content in mushrooms may help prevent lung, prostate, breast and other types of cancer. It protects against heart disease and helps to strenthen the bones. Low fat curd (one of the main ingredient of this pancake) is a good source of protein. It helps to manage high blood pressure & heart disease.

1 cup low fat curd

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup chopped mushrooms

1 medium size chopped onion

salt (according to taste), green chilis, water

oil for frying


Whip the curd in a bowl, add little water & salt and mix well. Add oats to the curd mixture & softly mix with it. Rest the curd – oats mixture for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes add chopped mushrooms , onions & chilis.

Heat the sauce pan over medium heat. When the pan is ready add 1 teaspoon oil . Add pancake batter using soup ladle. Cover it & let it cook in low flame for 2 minutes. When the pancakes have began to turn golden brown on the bottom , flip them. Cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
